PM leaves for Yemen, Saudi Arabia, visit aims to further strengthening ties
Caretaker prime minister Mohammadmian Soomro, on Friday said his visit to Yemen and Saudi Arabia is aimed at further strengthening bilateral relations particularly economic and trade cooperation with these countries.
Talking to APP before his departure for Yemen here at Chaklala Airbase, he said such visits have their own importance and termed his visit to these countries as friendly. (more…)
President Musharraf returns home after 4-nation tour
President Pervez Musharraf returned here on Tuesday morning at the conclusion of his four-nation visit to European countries: Belgium, France, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
The President was received at PAF Base Chaklala by caretaker prime minister Muhammadmian Soomro, National Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Amir Hussain, caretaker Minister for Information Nisar Memon and Chief of the Army Staff Gen Ashfaq Parvez Kiyani besides other senior civil and military officers.
