The National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage opened a ten-day Eid Mela for families at Lok-Virsa in Islamabad on Thursday.
From bangle makers to henna experts, the festival included almost everything that people prefer in their Eid celebrations.
The festival focuses on home based women glass bangle makers from Hyderabad, art and craft bazaar, garments and Henna stalls, artisans displays and other attractions.
Fun lovers including youngsters termed the festival as an excellent recreational as well as shopping opportunity saying the overall ambiance of the festival was different from typical market.
This mela will continue till Chand raat.
