Imran sees maturity in political leadership’s attitude

Chairman Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan seeing maturity in attitude of pro-democracy political leadership said it is a good sign.

Talking to a private television channel Imran said, the leadership of All Parties Democratic Movement (APDM) has no repent over the election boycott decision.

The leadership of the movement has taken a principal decision and it makes no difference whether they are in assemblies or not, he said.

To a question he said if the future parliament works in line with people’s mandate the PTI as well as APDM leadership will keep supporting it.

Imran said that he will have sufficient time now to pay attention to the organization of his party at every level and prepare for the next election.

He said the future government has a bright opportunity to strengthen all national institutions with judiciary on priority.

The deposed judges of the supreme and higher courts will be restored by the next government within a month after assuming charge and if the new government adopts a compromising position in this regard the APDM will of course oppose it he said.

To another question the PTI Chairman said that PPPP leadership adopted the same stance as Nawaz Sharif did , the party would have got two-third majority in the prevailing conditions.

However the PPPP and PML N have been given mandate by the people and we will give them maximum time to mend the conditions, he said.
